2. Turn off your antivirus protection (IMPORTANT)

 

3. Extract the MBAM 5-license batch, then run one of them to install the key into your computer as administrator

That's a little excessive and definitely suspicious enough not in run this.  There are safer ways to install a key than running an exe file and ones that could easily be verified for safety.  Verifying each of these would take a while and in the end, once malwarebytes sees all the activations on a key, the keys are blacklisted and you have a trial version.

I don't like it to manipulate a original nfo and it makes me happy that you don't have bigger problems, but I do not want that you can not sleep = I remove it

These can be opened with Winrar and you can see that it replaces a few files in the Program Data folder using the install.exe.  I haven't had time to unpack the exe to see exactly what it does or whether manually extracting and copying the *.conf files will do the same thing, but have to believe that part of the exe file adds items to the registry also.

Have it running in a VM currently.

This exe imports some registry configuration into your computer, with the registry is from an activated Malwarebytes
