Firefox has problems to open some (read many) pages, more than two weeks.

(NB! This also applies to all other Firefox-based or made browsers.)
True, this is a problem only for those users, who are upgrading their user data folder. But sometimes Firefox deletes after the renewal of some of the older data, including data of the web certificates.
They will be replaced with new ones, but the new file is essentially empty. And therefore, you can not access even to the Google, Yahoo and MSN sites. You will get announcement, that the certificate is missing or outdated.
To avoid this, I recommend you do the certificates file (cert8.db) copy. If necessary, you can restore the existing file, and everything works perfectly.
So, I recommend to backup this file cert8.db, but where is it?
Here is, how to find it.

  1. Type about:support in Firefox's address bar and hit enter.
  2. Find Profile Folder => Click on the Show Folder button to open the profile folder.
  3. Find file cert8.db and backup it

If You don't have this file and You have a trouble, I can help.

Attached is my file, it works.

Simply delete existing and unzip this and then copy-paste this there. If there (usually before) is something similar Overwrite...txt file, delete it also.
