dabourzannan
I found an unknown icon in the task manager stratup tab. I can not find it in C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup. I also could not find it in registry HKEY_CURRENT_USER_\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run,or here HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft \Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. Is their a way to delete this icon? Any help will be appreciated. Spoiler

rudrax
Yep, run Autoruns as admin and in the logon tab uncheck any suspicious and non-microsoft entries you want.

Thank you gentlemen for your answers, excuse me that I forgot to mention I already used Autoruns and could not find this "NA thing" and it is already disabled. I think and correct me if I am wrong it belongs to a program I uninstalled and this is a left over.

dabourzannan
unknownasphyx, you are right I can ignore it as long as it is not active in anyways, but if I can get rid of it will be better. pc71520 I am not comfortable at all using programs such as CCleaner, and never used them before. Thanks guys for your help.
christantoan
Try enabling it and then use Autoruns. Maybe it's not detected because it's disabled. If it still can't be found then it's probably a Task Manager bug
Kalju
You do not need to do there nothing and you do not even need to look for anything, because there isn't nothing. You've simply removed some of programs or something else, some of which are left some junk files to somewhere - probably cache. It have no address, nor does not have the icon, because everything else has been deleted. You can get rid of it, if you delete and/or update the icon cache, if look over the startup items - recommended to use ProcessManager, Service Manager and ContaxtMenuManager (they are in Yamicsoft Windows Manager). If this does not work, then just ignore them until the next time, You will do a clean installation.

Kalju, most likely this is the case here as it is nowhere to be found. 4 hours ago, csmdew said: right click any column and go down to add command line as another column and then you will know what or where it is located csmdew, it has no location as per imaged. 3 hours ago, rudrax said: You can try "show/hide Microsoft entries" in the options menu to see if the subject entry appears. rudrax, can not find it altogether in Autoruns. Thanks a lot for everyone trying to help me. Do you guys think rebuilding icon cache by deleting "IconCache,db" will help?

Do you guys think rebuilding icon cache by deleting "IconCache,db" will help? It can be help, but there is nothing definite. Have to say that this is one of many possibilities. But certainly not do any harm if you do this. Only thing that can happen is that you will have after the operation icons on the desktop confused, to say the placement will be deleted and you need to re-locate them as you want. But I do not want to recommend to delete it manually (I mean "IconCache,db") , but use Yamicsoft, there is special tool to do it, ie RepairCenter => Icon Repair

This is a bold step to take, as I am not that experienced to edit in registry. Thanks guys for helping me and for your time as will, I am sure it is not a malware, as I have checked, and it is not loading on my machine at startup. So I will try and find where the start menu tab gets the icons from and see if I can delete it from there.
