tina.2015
Hope it´s ok if i open a new Topic for my Situation. Right now i have 2 Problems….i need some help please. Right now on my Tablett PC i have the WIN 10 Pro. (WIN 8 HOME > WIN 10 HOME > WIN 10 Pro). This System is activated done by a VL MAK key (special thank to november_ra1n) . But now the automatic Update it´s on the way to download the WIN 10 „Home“ Upgrade Package. On my Laptop i have the Windows 10 Enterprise VL (activation is done by MAK Key) Build 10 240. Also here, the automatic Update it´s on the way to download the Upgrade Package to WIN 10 Enterprise Build 10 586. I know after download and after install, it will kick my activation out…..this already happend before. My Main Question for both Problems is, how to stop the Download from the Upgrade Package what is already start? And, is there any easy way to let me „select“ what update, and of course what Upgrade Package i want to download and also install? In this Point i just only can find on internet a „totally block“ Solution. Warm regards tina
november_ra1n
1. Disabling Windows 10 Upgrade Notification http://winsupersite.com/windows-10/disabling-windows-10-upgrade-notification 2. To stop automatic update or Win 10 --> there are lots of workaround or tools but nothing i have come across appear to be working at least none for me...! sam3971
Are you able to install windows 7 enterprise on it? I believe if you have a MAK key for Pro, it will work for enterprise. My keys work that way at least. If you can, enterprise edition doe not nag about win10 upgrades because it is not offered to "Enterprise" Customers. sam3971
Sorry, I thought you meant you were on windows 7. Windows 10 does not have GWX because it is not needed. GWX is only for previous version to upgrade to 10. There really isn't an easy way to stop the upgrade process from build to build. The only real way to do that is to install windows 10 Enterprise LTSB edition. You can setup a group policy option for windows update on Pro but Home is pretty much stuck the way it is. sam3971
Oh, one more thing, the Home and Pro edition at least on the ISO is the same thing. I am not sure why your tablet would be downloading "Home" if you have "Pro" though.

I just did a small Change.....i set the "Configure Automatic Updates" to "Disable". So, right now i stop all about Updates, not only the Upgrade....much more better than before.
