steven36
Good to see a new one out that dont have acceptable ads , but its donation based . Do they write there own filters ? Why should i donate ? uBlock Origin does and they want accept any money for doing it. In my book there's no such thing as and acceptable ad. because acceptable ads can contain malware too. Tell the ad industry 100% stops writing malware ridden ads i will fully block it all . if you only block 50% that's a 50% chance you catch malware . even if you only block 90% that's a 10 % chance . Any % is too much in my book.

When malvertising started being present on major sites in the last several weeks that should have been a warning that anyone can dish up malware and therefore no advertising is the standard. uBlock Origin and NoScript, along with a couple other privacy programs (Ghostery, DisConnect, and Privacy Badger) work well to stop all advertising. Holmes
The ad industry doesnt write malware ridden ads they write ads and ad networks get compromised and hackers inject malware that way Im surprised you dont know that shocked that you think ad companies purposely place malware in there ads. I have read a million times where ad network gets compromised or hacked. I believe users can use what they want and Im not going to talk them out of what they want to use I have used adblock plus for I think two years and never have gotten malware I use a hosts file to and the hosts file doesnt hold me back I dont need hosts man. I want companies that make revenue off ad's to make revenue and the ads that are acceptable some are dangerous and some are just there like hyperlinks you cant get infected unless you click on the link. Jordan
All the programs mentionned above are missing some adds All those programs are not perfect without additional scripts!

Absolutely right my friend and probably couldn't have said it better myself..Adblockers as well as now will be the Future..For instance for general Browsing i would recommend a good adblock rather than an anti virus.. ADs keep getting worse and worse i also use a script blocker policeman to block ads and cross site scripting , plus i use some scripts, but all of its free and open source I'm funny about what i put in my browser because it connects to internet more than anything else i use I'm still using Firefox 38 ESR for other browsers and newer Firefox I recommend uMatrix I use it my other browsers like slimjet and Palemoon , NoScript is ok and more easy but not as powerful .
