I don't follow BitDefender's logic. "Improved compatibility with Windows 8.1" in times when Microsoft is desperately pushing Windows 10 to replace 8.1. WHY BitDefender!? How about fixing Windows 10 compatibility because the free AV you offer doesn't even work under Win10. :shakeshead:

Stupid EICAR files can't be downloaded at all to see if HTTP scanner works. I got one downloaded through HTTPS and it blocked EICAR.

Tried AMTSO's CloudCar file and I got no detection. This is a bad sign, meaning cloud isn't working or is no reliable for this to happen. Not cool. It all seems like BD Free works fine, but I don't think it's working as it should.

Tried some more samples from Malcode and none go detected by HTTP scanner. Sorry, but I'm not going to trust this thing anymore. It's just behaving too inconsistent to trust my data to it.

EDIT:

And this bullshit visible file extensions bug is still here. I'm going back to avast!. Even though they have their share of stupid things, it's still one of few AV's that at least works in ways most relevant to my needs.
