LORD MADA
Greetings! I'm facing a terrible problem after buying a 4k notebook (Zenbook ux501jw) it's recommended to set resolution to 3840x2160 for a sharp look however my screen is 15.6 so windows 10 automatically adjust Custom DPI to 250% to overcome small icons and text but many programs don't understand these adjustments (utorrent,idm,jetaudio...etc) Even after using 3rd party tools to switch back to WIN 8.1 Custom DPI , still some apps icons don't get it! I wonder if there is a way to apply 1600x900 Resolution like older HD Graphics card and keep screen sharp?
oliverjia
Unfortunately, no. For LCD screen, unless you use native resolution, you can not get a sharp look.

I wonder why? theorically a higher gpu should serve as a lower one if needed
Administrator DKT27 Posted March 13, 2016 Administrator Share Posted March 13, 2016 How about changing the DPI to normal and increasing the font size of the OS. This will fix any reading problem you might have with it.
