nitama
Hello nsanedown members, I am in a bit of a predicament here, few days ago, I had accidentally deleted one of my bitlocker encrypted drive, and now I am not able to recover or undelete it. I have used active undelete ultimate version. However, this software when it comes to encrypted drive, seems only able to format it instead of recover it, which is definitely a no no for me or then again, maybe I am not fully versed in this software yet So, does any one happens to know how to undelete or recover the deleted bitlocker encrypted drive? Your assistance in the matter is very much appreciated and thank you for taking your time in helping me solving this problem. Sincerely, Nitama

straycat19
There is another option. You can recover it if you have access to forensic software such as FTK. Make a forensic image of the drive and then you can see the deleted bitlocker partition, and either write it back or actually open it and copy the data you need. Holmes
If for some reason the following recommendations dont work you can try active partition recovery I use enterprise edition it works very well I would recommend you try the recommendations before you first. After much deliberation, I decided to use straycat19 last suggestion that is the advise given by Microsoft on Technet. It worked like a charm however, it took me literally 6 hours plus to decrypt a mere 40gb drive...nonetheless it works and most importantly for a poor student like me, it's free. Again thank you all and especially to Straycat19. Sincerely, Nitama.
