MS SmartScreen blocks NSane!

http://i1102.photobucket.com/albums/g454/Brian_Danmage/n sane new-28_03-24-11_zpsr9ygxevs.png

Just clicked the "Patch" on the BurnAware Professional v8.9 post (Courtesy of addhaloka) and the Microsoft SmartScreen pops up with unsafe flag for the proxy. Weird for 2 reasons, 1: it poped up! and 2: I didn't know it was on ;o)

My antivirus flagged  that crack when he 1st made it too for some reason I told everyone  before,,   is just this crack or is  it all cracks on the nsane proxy ? if its just certain cracks its most likely a false positives causing it .  Microsoft makes and antivirus WD   but  it has a lot false positives it even  messes up legit programs on recent reports i read. Its really nothing new  for places to block whole crack sites ..My Antivirus  NOD32  has been blocking Nsane  for years Also malwarebytes blocks it..  ,, Also it blocks some crack distros,  And i had problems with Avast blocking one the crack distros in the past.

you can scan  here and see

Here explains why you get false positive from Google because  its repetition based site and people have reported it. Very same reason Eset blocks Nsane  people reported about them hosting cracks for  Eset .

Suspected Unwanted Software – Google has detected possible instances of unwanted software hosted on the specified URL/link or website. Unwanted Software is deceptive software disguised as a useful download that harms your web browsing experience by making undesired changes to your computer. (More details from Google about this website may be available in the Resources box below.)

So the only thing you can do about it  uncheck Google Safe Browsing  when ever you're going use it . I dont use Google Safe Browsing at all for many years .

Whats messed up about if it were some site hosting a real PUP with malware it would not detect  the site at all .  But my addblocker  with  Malware domains filters  detects many :P

Palemoon  removed GSB  along time ago in 2014 because it gives users a false sense of security

A few reasons:

  1. It's experimental in its current state on the provider side. It apparently has been experimental for quite a while and that state has not changed, nor is there any indication it will change. I do not want Pale Moon to rely on experimental services.
  2. It provides little protection that normal aware browsing would already surpass. What does it take for a website to be listed and with what turnaround? (no data available on that) Do phishing/malware sites actually stay on the same domain for any length of time? (no, they don't)
  3. There are alternatives that probably do a better job, if you feel you need the extra protection from a reputation check on every site visit.
  4. Page load speed: there is a noticeable delay when initially requesting pages, especially over wireless, as the lookup is performed. This is probably related to the experimental status of the service.
  5. Of course there is the inherent privacy issue dealing with sending (even partial) addresses to any service provider for every site visited - keeping in mind Google's recent track record, a different alternative might be better.
  6. API key costs: There is no indication specifically for this service. Comparing it with other related APIs it will be out of my budget range, though. On top, why should I have to pay for a now-experimental service that used to be free of charge when it was not experimental?

In short: I don't see why I should keep a non-production-grade service in the browser that will cost me money, doesn't seem to be providing usable results, gives users a false sense of security (and compromises their privacy), and harms performance.

can try https://href.li/

Create an anonymous link that will hide the HTTP Referer header.

Sooner are latter there going ban it too because it can be used to link unsafe software  or malware.

Google Safe Browsing = Consent to Send ALL your history to Google, even if you've otherwise disabled all of this on Google and maxed privacy settings elsewhere.

Use HOSTS Blacklists and adblockers instead.

Somehow Google is allowing it again. It seems it's randomly blocking it.

Either way, we are looking into it.

i was looking at the http://proxy.nsanedown.com/proxy.php

i see lee name

he have a cloudflare

and  dana

Lee does not own nor is an investor in that company. :P Nor there is any Dana that we know of. Neither does Lee host 1,313,631 domains on his server. :P

Read this. Search for the word Lee on it.

The so called famous Whois sites hide more than what they reveal about other sites.
