Then also other webs (torrapk,apkpure, etc)  just reupload apk from google play too, they do it because some country does not support google play like in China. If you sign them trusted, so google play is trusted.

Yes, I trust them since they test the app with Android Police but they don't have secure downloads. The cons are the older app versions are deleted periodically. They don't have many apps including BD Mobile Security as in TorrApk/APKPure.

 

Update: Here is your answer with recent proof about worst Google Play App Scanning. Every one or two weeks, there is a proof which can confirm that Google Play is Completely Untrusted Source.

 

Update: Now APKMirror is available in both HTTP & HTTPS Secure version and provides secure downloads too.

Too bad google,  i think this is the answer why google is banned from China. I'm using MIUI rom on my device, that rom is gapps free, replaced by china mobile apps.

There is none right now for BD mobile security. However, soon there will be promo for various BD products since 2017 release would be around final quarter of this year.

I am looking for a Mobile protection against malware. Was before using a few others (ESET, Avast, 360) but Bitdefender works the easiest on my older "sometimes buggy" Samsung phone. Open for good suggestions though.

I'd suggest you to use two or three types of security & cleaning apps for better management & powerful security & privacy too.

1. For Antivirus & App Detailed Info & Reasearch, use lightweight & compatible apps as suggested below:
   1. I'd suggest AVL for Android. Current version 2.4.3 - FREE. Most Mobile antivirus using their engine and being top in tests. Visit their site for more info. Hence, you can get most protection compared to Top Mobile AV/Security apps.
   2. For Detailed App Info & Reasearch, use AVL Pro for Android v2.1.9. Current version 2.1.9 - FREE. Note: Don't just depend on AVL Pro. You need both AVL & AVL Pro as both have different features in many cases.
2. For App Lock & Cleaning/Optimization, you could use Clean Master (Boost & AppLock) - FREE or any other simple, better and compatible alternatives.
3. If you don't require App Lock features, I'd suggest Clean Master Lite(Boost) - FREE or CCleaner for Android - FREE or Paid[patched].
