[Opinions?] Android OS [even portable] dual boot Windows PC

Hello Guys,

Have to say, disappointed in using BlueStacks Emulation and was looking for informed opinion about other OS options as portable or dual boot with windows

Downloading both Portable and dual boot versions of

http://www.jide.com/en/remixos-for-pc#downloadNow

Considering

http://consoleos.com

or

DuOS  Android  http://www.amiduos.com (seems to be old)

or even

http://andyroid.net (seems to be old too)

Bottom line, I simply would like a functional system, quick to switch over from Windows and that would apps would work (unlike BlueStacks 1/3 doesn't).

Seems this is the place, where knowledgeable people gather and wandered if any have experience with listed one's or even to suggest some alternatives?

Thanks!

best for the weakest installed graphics software turned out to be BlueStacks 1.91, without allowing to update itself 29/05/2016

Thanks guys!

Either general configuration or hardware specs or else, most of them where failing,

For now, I settled on Droid4X , simple, small and works! At least Mobdro does :D

What I've learned?

It's that prefix dev/mnt/sdcard means the file is mounted and I am unsure as how by copying and moving it to the device without mounting ( just directory of shared folder) suddenly becomes visible to windows explorer! (As dev/sdcard )

In particular application there are none other ways of transferring that size of files.

I know you are decided on what you are using, but have you tried this one. It was recently added to the frontpage.

Thanxx for the info.

I tried Bluestacks, Andy, & Android x86 but each gave some probs like crash, keyboard not working on games, etc... but I tried MEmu under Shadow Defender just now & worked fine for now & seems stable enough.

Will do later, as tried 6 already and Droid4X seemed to be least buggy ( for my 2 PC's)

Graphics card GS8400 failed, so after fresh widows compact form PC (Lenovo ) has build inn Intel Q35, that fails with almost all other Droids

Nox doesn't install, due to "recommendation" to upgrade graphics driver...

BlueStacks2- same

Droid4X almost installing, but failing and keeps on going in circles

and others, that where failing on old laptop- will fail on this PC for sure...

RemixOS and PheonixOS

BlueStacks 1.9.1 works, only so so...

:duh:

after-all remembered as how and where VM files are meant to be...

using the same ES, once dl'ed cut (or copy) and paste in "Windows" folder in BlueStacks VM- it ends where it needs to be
