It installed just fine, appeared to integrate just fine but a few seconds later, up popped a message that - some unknown process caused an integration failure, and, to reinstall it (or similar to that)... I should have just tried it as it was but I uninstalled it straight away... Then I tried another "pre-activated silent" install I also found in NSaneforums.. "Internet Download Manager 6.25 Build 12 Pre-Activated.exe" - 9,109,504 bytes which asked me for name, email and serial etc. HUH,, I thought it was pre-activated..!! I thought I could enter anything but it didn't like that, then came up with the exact same integration failure result.. I then installed the "f" normal retail installer and tried the patch posted by ZinnPL which is claimed to be "still working".And, it appears to be working...
