hello,

let's hope in posting this in the right place and that some is going to be able to help.

i'm on win 7 64bit and i've noticed today some new entries when i do a right click on some highlighted text (could be a folder name, some text in notepad)

those new entries are:

"Right to left Reading order"
"Show Unicode control characters"
"Insert Unicode control character"
"Open IME"
"Reconversion"

after searching the web, i've found a good number of people with those entry but absolutly no solution on how to remove them.

for example the solution here do no work as i only one keyboard/language pack in the list

http://www.sevenforums.com/general-discussion/93209-extra-context-menu-entries-ime-related.html

another solution given in thread but it's impossible to find the annoying entries

http://www.sevenforums.com/general-discussion/93209-extra-context-menu-entries-ime-related.html

(here you can see a thumbnail of how look that new context menu with those extra entries)

apprently it seems to be possible to disable to full context menu and replace it by another but i have no clue how i could do that.

and i've just step on this

http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/372062L-01/multisim/contextmenufromcomponentdialogboxelements/

where it says those entry are because i have multiple languages installed on my computer.

curiously i don't see them when i go to Regional and Language Options in the control panel.

so if someone have an idea cuz im starting to lose my patience with that shit!

CCleaner released a recent update that added a feature that allows you to clean out random application shortcuts from the right-click menu.

Step 1: Open CCleaner and click on the blue toolbox on the left-hand side labeled Tools, then click on the button labeled Startup

Step 2: Next, click the tab for the Context Menu and select an entry you want to edit. Flitox, If you want to select multiple lines, just hold down the Ctrl key while you click each entry.

Step 3: Decide whether you want to delete or disable the entry. Disabling will leave the shortcut available for later use if you change your mind

thanks for the reply, unfortunatly none are helping.

CCleaner do not allow to edyit that particular context menu (its the one you get if for example you want to edit the name of one of your icons on the desktop)

and its the same story for all nice little piece of softwares given in the other links.

i've noticed that i get that same context menu in the win 10 i have in the virtual machine.

and i gave a look on another win 7 pc and i had it too, so now i'm thinking the thing changed thanks to the last windows update i did a couple days ago.

i'm going to install win 7 in virtual machine and check that when i can
