Tired of Hotspot Shield Services running in background?

Are you tired of having multiple processors from Hotspot Shield running in the backround and using cpu power even when you have exit?

Open Services and find:

"Hotspot Shield monitoring service"

"Hotspot shield service"

Stop the two services and change to manually.

Copy my homemade "Hotspot Shield.exe" to C:\Program Files (x86)\Hotspot Shield\bin

Right-click the Hotspot Shield.exe and set "Run this program as administrator"

Right-click on the hotspot shield deskpot shortcort - properties - target - chnage name from HSSCP.exe to Hotspot Shield.exe - press Apply.

Ps: Go to settings - General - and untick "run with windows launch"

Cool I'll give it a try,

btw I managed to do the same thing, set all those services to manually and whenever starting hotspotshield it shows a 'fix it now' button, clicking on it will start those services again, easy right?

If you get "fix now" that means one or more services have not been started.

When you run my exe it will turn on the services and run Hotspot sheild and when you exit Hotspot sheild it will turn off the services.

Thanks, DM. I followed your instructions and it works like a charm for me on Win 7 HP x64. This is a cool trick!
