zombiegod
What would you guys recommend for both Fireawll and A/V?Previously I have always used Nortons. But the size of it is beyond a joke.I hear Bitdefender is very good as an A/V, but what about a decent easy to use firewall? Thanks in advance,Rob. Nathrakh
I use Avast Anti-Virus, and for my firewall, I just use the one built-in to my Westell 6100, as well as XP SP2s firewall, and according to the port scan at HackWatch.org, ports are "completely invisible to the outside world." Nemesis
the bottom line is, in my opinion, are:Firewall = SygateAnti-virus = NOD 32Sygate is very user friendly, and low on system resources. and NOD 32 is low on resources as well and its about the best Anti-virus ive seen for detection. Im running on 256 mb of ram on XP and I have yet to witness a slowdown.
