hakah
Can any member provide tutorial or illustrative demonstrations on detailed steps to convert 2 VCDs to DVD format by merging them first prior burnt onto DVD for DVD player viewing? kowski
This only makes sense, if the video is selfmade or if you can't find it in another format in the www anymore (old favorite porn f. e. ). You won't get a better quality by converting to DVD-format. Ten years ago i used VSO ConvertXtoDVD for this. It's very easy to use and you can find the complete manual and other guides on the VSO-Homepage.
Jordan
Kowski is right. you'll not gain better quality it can be even worst if conversion parameters are not well configured!
xanax
vcd contain video stream in mpeg1 format, so should be readable in standalone dvd players so maybe it is better to not convert and lose more quality eventually put in other suitable container like .vob basically, import first part in some program, append second part and export to something like mpg or vob without transcoding to mpeg-2 but that is individually vcd contain video stream in mpeg1 format, so should be readable in standalone dvd players so maybe it is better to not convert and lose more quality eventually put in other suitable container like .vob basically, import first part in some program, append second part and export to something like mpg or vob without transcoding to mpeg-2 but that is individually
hawk007
Yes, VCD should be playable in standard DVD player. And as xanax told, you will even lowering its quality (generation loss) converting another time.
