Petrovic
Dark Mode Enabler easily allows Windows 10 users to enable the hidden dark mode within Windows 10. This simplifies the process of modifying Windows registries to enable or disable the dark mode. HX1
This should be a simple registry tweak which will enable dark mode throughout Windows 10 and accompanying apps which support it.. I have not downloaded the file above but it should be simple enough.... It does not effect explorer nor areas of Windows 10 or Apps which do not support it. One setting.. This is on.. or Dark theme.. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes\Personalize] "AppsUseLightTheme"=dword:00000000 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes\Personalize] "AppsUseLightTheme"=dword:00000000 Normal settings.. or Light theme.. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes\Personalize] "AppsUseLightTheme"=dword:00000000 [-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes\Personalize] "AppsUseLightTheme"=dword:00000000 Both of these can be copied into a text file which you can rename to .reg and double click to apply... I have been using this since last July 2015... No issues... If the program is valid it is probably just a shell to apply the two settings and use this default ability within Windows 10 to do so.... Simple.
