werty12345
Hi folks, can you guys share programs that you use for downloading windows updates? After a clean installation, Windows 7 takes ages searching (sometimes overnight) for updates. I am looking for some of the best tools out there that you use so I can integrate the updates with Windows installation media (.iso file). Thanks! asf
What i recommend is WHDownloader i use it and am extremely happy, there is another good one that i know of Portup, i also tested this one. The difference between these two is, the first is non system specific, this means that it gives you all updates that everyone gets also that someone has to keep on maintaining it, the latter is system specific and it gives you the updates your computer asks for (it also saves it if another computer asks for it) for the first one, If you are going to read a little bit you could find some nice batch files to install the updates.
