Need help with Burn4Free

Hi, I tried to convince my parents to change the Burn4Free software crap but there's now way to change their mind. Burn4Free is a small burning program but it comes with ads and, what's worst it displays ads. I tried to block the ads via the host file but some ads are still showing. Any more ideas? Thanks.

127.0.0.1 burn4free.com
127.0.0.1 iredirect.burn4free.com

I know you specifically wrote that they don't want to change program, but i would still recommend you to show them burnaware, you could download a portable version so that you  won't need to install anything, in order to convince them to switch over. Download link for Burnaware Portable.

I downloaded the latest version from here:

http://www.free-codecs.com/burn4free_download.htm

it is a slient setup without bundled installer ads but still banner ads are showing during its runtime.

@asf . Thank for your suggestion, I will try that.

@jordan4x . Already tried that (using the build in Windows 7 Firewall) and it doesn't work.
