That website not a fake, it only need you to create account in order to download the giveaway order, did you see the $0.00?

Better you try it first before you say it a fake because almost commercial software i download from that page was really FREE and LEGAL.

Hope you try it yourself. Have a nice day.

Some Giveaway Software sites require more from you than just a Visit to their Webpage for the offer, then downloading.

This is really up to one's own preference of what you're willing to do for a free Shareware/Commercial version software.

This would be such as-

They require you to do the following to obtain the giveaway or discount.

  • Click a button to get a free or discounted software
  • Redirect you to another page where you must enter an email and or make an account.
  • Then you must click "Place Order" or similar button and you are redirected to a "Checkout" or "Download" link
  • You may also be required to enter billing details for discounted software (I'm skeptical of discounted software on some of these type of sites)
  • Once you get to this point you are either redirected to a licenses & Download link page (SOS) or a zip file download.
  • Most often not containing a license but the URL of the original giveaway.
  • Must be downloaded, installed, and registered before this offer is over -- you cannot install / reinstall / register later, such as if your computer crashes.

Of course you can use a free anonymous email service for such offers, like-

Hide My Ass! Anonymous Email
If you don’t want to give out your personal email every time you sign up a new online service, then Hide My Ass! Anonymous Email meets what you need. The service lets you create an anonymous email account for receiving emails only. You can also opt for sending notification to your real email when you receive a message. Another noteworthy feature is that you can set your emails to be auto-deleted after a pre-set period of time.

5YMail
5YMail, by default, you can easily send anonymous email by providing recipient’s email address, subject, message content as well as your real email. You would need to register the service’s active account if you don’t want to receive reply from the recipient and stay completely anonymous. Text-editor is featured in the service so that you can format your messages the way you want.

@ ontryit and thread visitors,

Here is my list, I was going to start another thread and list them but, here is just as good !

Note:

Not all these update daily - maybe not even weekly as well.

Benefits of this, is when one site has ended the software giveaway and it' is over,

you may as well then find it on another site that's on the list and it is currently an

active giveaway...

If you want to make a bookmark for the sites of interest to you and have easy access

to visit them, this would be beneficial as a time saver.

Be sure to check my thread (expanded) for free anonymous email services here-
