knowledge-Spammer Posted December 11, 2015 Share Posted December 11, 2015 ok guys i am not going to post nomore this is y i think we need more privacy settings i have try to talk with admins about this but not sure they understand what i am trying to say ? 1 if people not have a account they can see everylittle thing we post comment like follow and more ? this is one thing i not like 2 everything i may post can be seen from everyone mean if a patch or fix it posted softwere makers can go to are profile pages and see who posted what ? this i not like aswell 3 y i not like it as it seems we not have privacy settings nomore what i mean is weeks ago people did not see my profile page with out having a account but nowdays everylittle thing we do is seen by all signed in or out from my understaning admins cant fix this problem and i am ok with that but ill not be posting nomore very sorry about that guys and girls but its how i am about my privacy for some of u may say noone have privacy nowdays but for me i can change it very easy by not posting nomore may post on vip as it seem people cant see it u have to be vip for me its not a easy thing to do this but till we have some privacy ill say good bye guys but ill still be about but ill not post so much some of u may like this lol but its all ok with me i feel i had to post this so people understand y i not post so much nowdays if facebook users can hide there profile page and we cant its not good thing i think not at i use facebook but my understanding is they have better privacy settings ? ill not comment on this topic as everything i say is seen by the world hope u all the best hope people understand me login off Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Leave it be or rant to each other in PMs. I do believe the profiles should be hidden to non-members, but this setting doesn't seem available. I will contact IPS support regarding this. shought Posted December 20, 2015 Share Posted December 20, 2015 I've stated quite some time ago that I wanted to restrict visibility of member profiles to guests. It's just not as easy as flipping a switch. I would like to ask you (nobody in specific, just everyone) to appreciate the fact that I'm working 12 hours a day and still find the time to do some of the necessary stuff here (not nearly as much as I would like to). Also managing a community isn't just about 'clicking buttons and changing things', we have much more to worry about and we cannot be expected to fix everything at once. I feel the concerns in this topic have been addressed properly, so I'm closing this. Should there be any remaining concerns please create another topic or send me a PM, either way works.
