Well there have been a lot of IDM patches , mine , just simple. Install IDM offline( no internet connection till finish the process) --> Total Clean IDM registry and other leftovers--> Register with a serial ( blocked or not, or used keygen by BRD) Then block IDMan.exe with FW using CIDR method or IP range...  That's it... To update. Just download the update retail and update it offline.

That is truly a gross icon, CentOS™ — I suspect you must be using a preactivated IDM and the Author (reverse Engineer) decided to change the icon.

Problem solved! 

I've just full uninstall and re-install it. Finally I recognized that fixed version by "GeodaSoft" modified IDM icon by resource hacker.

Does anybody have the fixed version with original Icon here? It like november_ra1n fixed version. Please share it with me, thanks!

HOSTS BLOCKING IS NOT WORKING ANYMORE:(
 

I THINK the problem why we experienced this, it's because our hosts file is being deactivated or not working if you're also modified your hosts file and added entries to block IDM from dialing home.

try to visit www.internetdownloadmanager.com then if you can access on that link, maybe that's the one of the reason of being blocked.

Try this patch here>> by addhaloka i been using it without a problem

@romark/mona,  check registry for leftovers( thrash keys, vpprotect, etc) ,  and check your idm serial fname,lname, email  in hkcu download manager registry should be consistent in your  hklm internet download manager registry fname, lname, email and serial .

disable update check in registry

apply a fwb  of idman.exe based on cidr method.

adjust model to 3

adjust therad to 365

no need of mdata if you register it with a keygen by brd or other keygens. no need to patch exe. host block not effective anymore

 

all do this offline ( installation to registration process) . Open idman  first then restart pc.

I cannot find they've change the registry info. No update check and registration info at HKCU :( 

what do you mean adjust model to 3? and thread to 365? I never heard that before.

there is find it.... its always there and will always be in hkcu..... along with therad (not thread) and model....   but in different registry  under classes\clsid   depending if your system is X64 or X86.
