Hi all,

I have had problems opening "spoilers" in www.nsaneforums.com since a long long time. When I click on "Show" "spoiler" button nothing happens. I tried to explain my problem once here, but everyone was telling me it is a problem with my PC/Browsers/Security softs etc. I gave up, but here I am again. The problem is still there ever since. Now:

- Tried it with different PCs (3) at my place

- tried from my office with different machines

- tried it in train stations and airports

- tried it ABROAD in 3 different countries and completely different hardwares/softwares

The problem STILL persist.

I also get en eternal error when I try to connect to my account or try to use "Search" options:

"CalendarDateSelect Error: Prototype could not be found. Please make sure that your application's layout includes prototype.js (.g. <%= javascript_include_tag :defaults %>) *before* it includes calendar_date_select.js (.g. <%= calendar_date_select_includes %>)."

For sure it has something to do with my account. It's is very very frustrating guys.

Please Please HELP

Thanks

Try if my demo works (link is in signature below, the first). That there is a bit more modern than in the forum. I have used latest jQuery version with HTML5 and CSS.

You might have an incorrect rule on one of your add-ons (such as NoScript) which is blocking scripts — you can determine this by disabling that add-on temporarily. ;)

At nSane you need to enable the following 2 scripts for correct working of some essential site features:—

ajax.googleapis.comhttp://www.nsaneforums.com

Please note in my original post: Tried it in DIFFERENT Hardware/Software/Operating systems/Countries...

Thanks

Uuuppps my bad. I was trying to click on the demo thing in your link...

You helped me o lot mentioning the two adresses to be enable. The culprit was: ajax.googleapis.com. I may have used different machines in different countries, but with the same "Hosts" file. The above address was blocked in my host file and since I have hundreds of urls in there, and never had problems with other sites other than nsane, I didn't even remember that line was there. Found and deleted it from the Hosts file and everything is working fine finally.

Sorry. I feel terrible. It's my own fault :duh: and THANKS again

Do you guys want me spend all friday afternoon apologizing?... I'm just "a little" lost, nothing serious trust me.

I would better go and have a drink (or two) and relax a little. :fun:
