Pete 12
This so called "system reserved partition" is always made by Windows-setup if you use a SSD for installing Windows on it ! Dont ever touch it, you should only restore system C-partition, NEVER try to restore the reserved partition ( indeed about 100MB)............. Ghazi
If on a UEFI computer so should we also do not backup the other partitions except where windows is installed. I want to make a multiboot computer in which First partition will have Win 8.1, second has Win 7, third also Win 8.1. Each has its own specific use. I want to make a backup of each partition and restore them when needed. If I format C parition and do not format D and E drive. Will my Computer boot or will I have to make boot loader. Pete 12
Better make a boot loader first, just "in case ". As far as I know you can only format C, so leave the rest in tact, or else your facing troubles.............. After format you can always go back in time with your Acronis backups. Mikeypr
I have had a problem with Acronis for a while. I have installed and run loader exactly as asked. but every time I start my PC it shows a pop up saying I do not have a licence, and offers be 40% off. Seems to work fine apart from that. Activated successfully. Any ideas? THX
