Before plugging the flash drive into your computer to delete the virus, ensure that auto-play has been disabled on your system.

You can find many different suggestion from different people at this topic — read all the pages before taking corrective action (I'd personally, disable auto-play at all different levels.) ;)

hi ,

download HijackThis

1.on system disk you create a folder Hijackthis, put the downloaded file in this folder
2.Run HijackThis program window and click on Do a system scan and save a logfile and wait ...
3. After a while it pops up Notepad dump HJT. This extract copy and post here or send me via private massage

Nothing not needed to download.
And also all the files and folders are retained. You only have amended their attributes, and you need to restore them.

  1. Disable autorun
  2. insert this drive
  3. open command prompt (for ex Win + R => cmd.exe => OK)
  4. write at first drive letter => Press Enter
  5. now write this (or copy) "attrib f:*.* /d /s -h -r -s" NB! Without quotes and press Enter
  6. If done, then should be see all files and folders and everything must be OK.

NB! On this picture is the drive letter f: => replace it with your drive letter

Forgot - maybe You must run cmd.exe as administrator!

just look in the hidden files after a autorun.inf. or other inf file and delete it !

then do a scan at the drive to be shure everithing is away.

By default, eset scans all plugged flash drives. to be sure, disable auto-play first as dcs18 suggested.

if you don't need any file located in that drive, reformat it.

Best advice.

Also, reformat using the q switch, e.g. format E: /q to save time and unnecessary write cycles on your flash device.
