straycat19
There is no way to block your ISP from seeing what you are doing. Peer Block doesn't work. VPN's can be back traced to your ISP and you. If you don't want to be caught downloading P2P then don't do it. Anyone who thinks they can hide is either an idiot or a fool. FBI CyberTeams in the US have thousands of CIs who do nothing but troll P2P and report on file sharers and the data is given to appropriate civilian agencies. But don't take my word for it, go ahead and get caught.

I dont understand, a vpn is supposed to do that very thing.Make your connection encrypted and give you a different ip.Also why does the FBI bother with torrents.Dont they have real criminals to chase.Seems like a big waste of resources to me or are they a corporation now that gets paid to do such things? SnakeMasteR
The biggest problem in all that is data retention. In Germany there is only the GVU that actively targets high-profile sites, uploaders and owners, not downloaders, they want the big guys and those right behind. Then there are smaller law firms, copyright trolls and individuals that fish in grey areas that target other individuals. The government doesn't care about what you download, why should they?Just don't ever download music and movies thru torrents, they are heavily monitored. Use one-click hosters for them.Games, ebooks and software instead are no big deal.
zavana
Go for an non-EU and non-US based corporation VPN services provider with strict no log policy. They'd nothing to hand over when appoarch by relevant authorities

captcha
Well for starters like others said p2p is risky in most nations. Get yourself torrent-direct download kind of service. Like furk.net/zbigz etc. If you want cheaper go for debrid sites likes real debrid/all debrid.

Nothing can be really hidden from isp tbh BUT since you live in India direct downloads are much safer than torrents(this is true for almost every nation). I use real-debrid and there is an option which says delete all logs, after that you can never reverse it and they'll never keep logs(atleast this is what is implied)

Israeli_Eagle
Easiest way via VPN. But make sure to block in-/outbound (firewall) your normal ISP connection and/or use only the right interface, because if the tunnel sometimes closes then a second is enough to log. Paid, your privacy and anonymity is worth more than that. For a competitive market product (VPN services) Free = Inferior Cracked = Useless as abused by botnets, spambots.. (Think twice of sharing same IPs)
