Its RAR format may only take second place for its level of compression – but it is consistently the fastest when it comes to both packing and unpacking files. While RAR files are not native to Windows or Mac, many other compression programs are still capable of unpacking it. All you need to do is to download the genuine installer from RARLab, install it, copy the .reg key into its installation folder. That's it. You don't risk any chance of being infected by some bundled gems in some of the pre-cracked installers floating all over the Internet - obviously I don't mean the ones posted in this thread, but then again what's the point "cracking" it?
