The most recent Windows release of Outlook 2016 makes attaching files in email a child’s play with the new ability to see a list of recently accessed documents from your local hard drive and OneDrive, OneDrive for Business and SharePoint.The new attachment feature in Outlook 2016 informs you which permissions you have agreed to grant and in return sought the ability to change the permission or attach a copy instead, without having to leave the place where it is stored.Now, when you go to attach a file to your email, you’ll notice a list of recently accessed documents under the Recent Items that comprises of documents on your local hard drive as well as Microsoft’s cloud service – OneDrive, OneDrive for Business and SharePoint.For some reasons, if you can’t find what you are looking for in the Recent Items list, Microsoft has made it easier for you to navigate to your OneDrive locations by selecting Browse Web Locations. To find other files saved on your PC, simply select the Browse this PC option to open File Explorer.Thereafter, new attachment feature in Outlook 2016 will show you what permissions you’re granting to your recipients at a glance. Please note, the new attachment experience is available for Outlook 2016 users beginning today.
