Batu69
Stats show that Windows 10 is yet to take off in China September 2015 China OS share stats Windows 10’s early adoption figures show that Microsoft’s new operating system is gaining ground at a decently fast pace, and although its growth has more or less slowed down in the past month, it’s clearly going in the right direction. But data provided for the month of September points out that, in China, Windows 10 is very far behind all of its predecessors, and if the same trend is maintained, it is very unlikely to overtake any of them in the next few months. While in Denmark Windows 10 is very close to reaching a 20 percent market share (and it has already surpassed Windows 8.1 and Windows XP), in China, Windows 10 is only the fourth most-used operating system with a share of just 4.33 percent. This makes it more popular than OS X (2.13 percent) and Windows 8 (2 percent), but well behind Windows 7, Windows XP, and Windows 8.1, with 53.56%, 29.87%, and 5.3%, respectively. China’s piracy levels While it’s hard to determine the reason Windows 10 is yet to skyrocket in China, some claim that the new operating system is not as easy to pirate as its predecessors, despite the fact that cracks and activation software are already available if you know where to look. It's not a secret that China is a piracy paradise, and former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer himself admitted that, for the Redmond-based software giant, that was indeed a huge problem. Nine out of ten Windows copies running on Chinese computers were pirated two years ago, Ballmer claimed, and Microsoft had only a few options at that time. One of the ways that Microsoft turned to in order to tackle the issue of piracy in China was to convince the local government and state departments to make the move to genuine licenses. The company negotiated deals to purchase Windows XP licenses only six months before this operating system reached end of support. This, in turn, backfired for Microsoft, as China wanted extended support for Windows XP at no additional cost, a demand that was rapidly denied by the software firm. China, instead, decided to ban Windows 8 on governments computers and start an anti-trust investigation against Microsoft. Right now, it’s pretty clear that China isn’t quite Microsoft’s preferred market, although it should be, given the huge number of computers in the country and the potential the local IT business currently has.News source
LeeSmithG
Windows Ten (10) is as lame as Vista and ME.I think people had enough of the b.s. with Windows Eight ( 8 ) and decided they do not want another White Elephant; Windows Ten (10) is that. steven36
Too hard? They used the same KMS as 8.1 verbatim? How about China just doesn't f*cking want it?China are just like most of the rest of the world regardless if its cracked are not most people don't use it yet . If you already have a windows 7 or 8 legit key there's no reason to crack it you can just upgrade to it for free it don't cost money tell July 2016 . I tired Windows 10 for a bit and it was free it was no reason for me to Crack it but the rest of my family only use windows 7 and I dont even use windows 10 anymore even I could still get it for free . ;)

Gavino
Cracking a free software?? oh come on...If I have a "upgrade-for-free" software offered and "crackers" don't use it then can I say that my "free" software is too hard to crack??... or that maybe "they" just ignore it! :PIf win10 is a very good win OS, then that 53.56% win7 users and other predeessors (XP, 8, 8.1) users would be jumping for upgrades. :D
tiliarou
You are probably not aware of the fact that piracy rate in China is one of the highest in the world, especially for windows OS, and this was true much before windows 10 release and free upgrade from 7 8 announce. The fact is, around 90% of Chinese windows OS are pirated copies, and this from the release of windows XP, so in the end, China DO NOT have valid license for XP or 7 or 8 and thus CANNOT upgrade for free to win 10.So your comments are not really relevant when you mention the non sens of pirating a free software, the software is not free at all, the upgrade is.So if they don't have valid license for previous OS version, YES they need to either make a previous version look genuine and upgrade or directly crack win10 (which perfectly doable with various KMS that you all know). In the end, they don't adopt it probably because of the whole privacy/spying story, don't you think ?Source for 90%: https://www.quora.com/What-percentage-of-people-are-using-genuine-Windows-Operating-System-Why-does-Microsoft-doesnt-take-legal-action-though-it-identifies-illegal-copies-running-on-various-systems

12stones
System 10 is good to work on several things but I found when running a program like photoshop or corel draw much slower than in windows 7, so was very often in the windows 8 and 8.1 the system worked like a beast, but when even optimized was difficult to perform tasks in photoshop, improved the system 10 maybe, I would buy if it were a very cheap price but here in Brazil is too expensive and even then I would buy, but can not do while... I'm still thinking about how to use the CS4 adobe with my plug ins favorite , perhaps in a virtual machine does not know worth buying the final version yes, but I am very averse to such spying ... I do not have Web CAM but would be bothered if Microsoft took a picture my seeing a romantic movie or listen

I wonder how many copies Americans would have to pirate to get the same price? So much for the notion that "crime does not pay!"http://www.pcworld.com/article/168746/If_China_Gets_Microsoft_Office_for_29_Why_Dont_We.htmlWhat there doing is giving windows 10 away free and charging more for store apps to make up for there loss Microsoft increases Windows Store app prices in several regions. On Linux I don't have this problem my O/S is always free and all the Apps in the update manger witch is like a store are free too .
