HX1
If that is the case then .. I should take over writing chrome.. now. TRUTH: All of this is only going to mean that we will now be going into the program files and AppData Directories changing the defaults.. where there is a will there will always be a way... The only problem would arise if it was only possible by hacking the browser.. :) Oh wait we will do that too....

HX1
Truthfully over the past few years there have only been a handful of people who have taken the time to create full themes... literally I think there are about 5 of them that I would ever consider..and of those five one that I would use I am just lucky that it has been maintained this long.. I am interested to see what new is to come.. if they do the right thing with it and it can still be customized.. and does not wind up being a clone of something else.. it could be good.. just have to see.. but it could result n exactly that. HX1
Look for bold type simple answer.. ( I realized after all of the typing I have been using a computer too long and my history with it goes on too long and I write a book explaining or talking about it.. LOL.. sorry.. :P )Well first of all you have to see my Firefox through several OSes over the years and what I go for... by going here..http://heath28m.deviantart.com/gallery/.. my deviantart gallery.. I haven't done any work in years or had the time and I have removed some stuff I submitted but you will see what my firefox looks or looked like... I used scripts and extensions to auto hide things.. like the sidebar which would slide out from nowhere on the left..Next the themes I have used... some defunct.. or no longer being developed..Used theming on windows to allow firefox to match my system for a long time..I used NASA Night Launch after modifying it to change a few elements to my liking.. until became apparent years ago I would have to make all of the changes every time it updated.. Still maintained till this day and was one of the more well developed themes out there..I used this one for awile.. http://www.deviantart.com/art/Pseutro-1-1-3-359762782I tried a couple of the ones that changed the UI to look like Windows 8.. but soon enough they were no longer maintained...More recently were MX4, FXOpera, FT Deep Dark. ( w/flat script ), several ideas by mucksponge and a group of a bout three or four guys who contributed and worked on these themes together.. seems like boneyardbrew was one dev.. tried MZ8...http://maxxdogg.deviantart.com/art/UPDATE-FlatFox-Light-and-Dark-556554940The one I wound up staying with now.. is called Simple White ( it matches the default UI of Windows 10 and 8.1 if it isn't using a custom theme... by Louis Chan. There is also an extension which makes a few elements smaller.. ( Simple White Compact )I am trying FT Deep Dark again to see about flat Nav Bars with script.. and buttons..( my system not themed still shows a white titlebar from Windows though.. The Edge script screws with my autohide navbar.. so probable I will ditch that too..... but the main thing I think I am honestly wanting out of this .. is for TH2 to be released.. Windows 10.. to see what theming options there are at that point in time to change the UI how I need it.. I always windup opting out of a theme.. and as you see in my gallery.. I use no tab bar.. LessChrome HD extension to autohide everything else ( have not found replacements for some things yet.. ) and I use hotkeys to trigger parts of my browser instead of them mouse...I used to love the fact that I had the right set of extensions that I could literally do everything from Web Design to Base64 Encoding to whatever with my browser.. have a minimal Menu.. and appearance an it still operated like it should.. Faster dev cycle meant broken extensions and devs dropping support all over.. then themes I left behind for sake of being minimal.. with even a few small changes using scripts even still... Now believe it or not waiting for things to come about it doesn't seem efficient to me to keep changing stuff, so I have to find a way to change stuff later... So it sort of .. is yet to come about waiting on several elements.
