jalaffa
Rescue lost files from a bad or trashed CD or DVD or a Blu Ray disc (e.g. BD or HD DVD) ! Save important documents, precious pictures or video from the family, your only system backup, IsoBuster can do it all! Combine this all-revealing functionality with far better read and recovery mechanisms, scanning for lost files functionality, workarounds for a wide range of drive and software bugs, limitations or shortcomings and you have an enormously powerful data recovery tool.Download
Rock Lee
I've ditched Ultra for this, it works faster. ; Thanks for the update ;)
jalaffa
Maybe there is a problem with this keygen and any other keygens for this program. It gets registered but the functionality of the program is maybe not 100% (problems with udf extraction mentioned)
Rock Lee
I'll uninstall & see if I can find a new keygen (if need be) ; Why do you need to go thru leaps & bounds to download? I'm used to a hot link from you guys ;)
jalaffa
I have no damaged media around for testing it out on. If you by Ultra meant UltraIso I think you got it wrong. Those are two different kinds of programs.
Rock Lee
Yes I meant UltraIso, it extracted files from an .iso just like IsoBuster does. What's the difference?EDIT: By what you said earlier Jalaffa, do you mean we need a different keygen or no? Because I have one & I haven't noticed any problems with a .udf file. Rock Lee
I think that maybe no keygen is working for this properly (we have an author of the program liking to play it though - gathering information as we speak)Alright I'll wait & see...UltraIso and IsoBuster are really two different kinds of programs...IsoBusterIsoBuster is an award winning , highly specialized and easy to use CD, DVD and blu-ray (BD, HD DVD) data recovery tool. It supports all CD / DVD / BD / HD DVD formats and all common file-systems ... Rescue lost files from a bad or trashed CD or DVD disc, save important documents, precious pictures, video from the family, your only system backup,...IsoBuster can do it all!UltraIsoUltraISO is an ISO CD/DVD image file creating/editing/converting tool and a bootable CD/DVD maker , it can directly edit the CD/DVD image file and extract files and folders from it, as well as directly make ISO files from your CD/DVD-ROM or hard disk. At the same time, you can maintain the ISO bootable information, thus creating your own bootable CD/DVDs. You now have the power to make and edit your own ISO files, and then burn them to CD/DVD for your own needs. So Isobuster is leaned toward data recovery while UltraIso creates & converts. Both extract from .iso's, which is why I use & used them. IsoBuster can create image files (*.ibp and *.ibq,*.iso, *.bin, *.tao). UltraIso can burn them. There's similarities & differences, but again, both got & get the job done for me ;)

jalaffa
ok - so I did an udf extraction of a dvd after it had been regged with the keygen currently listed. No problems experienced replaying the recovered content. Sorry for the confusion ;)Edit:My Russian friend asked me to adjust the computer time a bit. So doing I discovered that the keygen does not work after all. Program says expired when trying to do a udf extraction...
