Batu69
Ozzy Osbourne has gone on record saying he’d like to make one more Black Sabbath album before calling it quits. However, it looks like Ozzy has changed his mind, instead opting to finish his career with Sabbath’s 2016 ‘The End’ tour.Black Sabbath’s 2013 full-length album, 13, became the first of the heavy metal legends’ career to hit No. 1 on the U.S. charts. Followed by a hugely successful tour, the entire experience left Ozzy craving to make another album. “The whole Sabbath experience this time around was great,” Ozzy said in 2014. “We all made friends, we didn’t f— around, we all knew that we had a job to do, and we did it. It was a lot of fun. So we’re going to do one more album, and a final tour.”Ozzy echoed his statement a number of times, but for the first time since Black Sabbath’s farewell tour was announced, Ozzy has said a new album won’t come with the goodbye. “We were gonna do one before the tour, but I’m 67 in December, it would take three or four years to write and record an album, by which time I’ll be f—ing 73 or 72 or something,” Ozzy tells veteran rock journalist Gary Graff in a new interview. “So we decided just to do a farewell tour. If we did an album and it went to No. 2, people would go, ‘It’s over.’ There’s only one more place you can go after No. 1 and that’s No. 2, you know.” To listen to Ozzy’s remarks, click here.Black Sabbath recently announced a second leg of North American ‘The End’ tour dates.
