I downloaded the minitool partition wizard 9.1 Technician edition 9.1 iso .I created a bootable iso using poweriso s/w. But when I tried to boot through USB then a blank screen appears for a while and nothing happens. Then windows OS starts on my laptop like normal boot. But I don't get any options for using minitool partition wizard..I want to use 53 GB un-allocated space of my Laptop's HDD.. But I am not able to use Minitool partition wizard 9.1 using bootable usb. Also after I get logged into windows OS , when I selected USB drive(bootable usb) then I get error msg saying " windows Can't recognize file system. Do you want to format it?" Please somebody help me in using minitool partition wizard 9.1.

Give Acronis Disk Director a try. ;)

@dcs18 correct me if i am wrong here.. as you know quite alot moe than i do... this poster wishes to allocate 53 gigs of unallocated space and also if memory serves me correct he had a lot of other questions concerning small drives on his primary hard drive too in other posts or the status update... it seems he has had quite a lot of problems trying to do this...if he tried and could not do this from the native windows computer management feature it would seem he either has some issues with his computer or is kind of as total loss as to exactly what he wants and how to go about it...

i guess what i am getting at maybe the guy needs a step by step reply from an expert... you know ...like someone who has posted a lot of tutorials already :)

Thanks all especially @neofita, you made my day.Using Minitool partition wizard portable, I created a separate drive of 45 GB and used the remaining 8 GB of that total 53 GB un-allocated space for my other local drive in which there was less free space.

  • The problem is that you do not launched from USB.
  • Typically, the computer starts from the hard disk or CD/DVD.
  • To run from USB, you need to press F12 (for most computers, but it may be also some other) during start, it makes possible to enter the BIOS menu, and there You have to select the startup mode.
  • F12 is if You have a newer computer, but you may also have another key, it is usually in a computer manual, on screen, or anywhere else available or visible.
  • For older computers it may be for example F1, F4, F5, ESC, DEL, etc.
  • If You want, You can make changes in this BIOS menu and replace CD/DVD with USB. Then it will look for USB automatically. (I would not recommend, because then may be problems, if You use regularly some USB add.)

Dude I already chose before to boot using USB drive by going into bios settings but even after trying it several times on my laptop nothing was happening. I had installed OS before on my laptop by creating bootable USB. So, I am very well aware about booting through USB drive.Basically the problem was that after booting through USB the minitool partition wizard menu which must appear was not appearing. But this tiny portable solved my issue.

and i believe mini tool partition wizard is a program that does not require a bootable iso on a usb stick to use it...so maybe the computer was looking for program install files

LoL no — these are all good people with right intentions (pays for me to sit back quietly, watch and learn about the MiniTool Partition Wizard which I never have any previous experience with.) ^_^ :P

Dude it was a bootable iso which I downloaded earlier from one of the topics of this forum. I also read on the minitool partition wizard website and it showed that a menu should appear if bootable iso has been used with 4 options. But menu was not appearing in my case when I tried the bootable usb.

My intention was never to hurt anyone.Sorry, if anyone got hurt which I don't think so. But since I had already mentioned in my earlier post that my issue has already been solved then why to make the topic running if other more important topics are there in this forum.
