Batu69 Posted October 20, 2015 Share Posted October 20, 2015 Luke Skywalker’s whereabouts are still a mysteryAfter a lot of teasing in the past couple of days, with the release of a new official poster and several teaser videos, Disney has dropped another full trailer for the highly anticipated “Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens.” Obviously, the fans knew a longer video was coming, but it still managed to take them by surprise because it features previously unseen footage, while still not revealing key elements about the plot. In other words, it’s a near-perfect trailer. Disney is working hard to keep Luke Skywalker’s whereabouts a secret; even though Mark Hamill’s role is confirmed, he’s yet to be featured in any kind of promotional work, be it a poster, an on-set photo or video. The same goes for Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o, whose character is equally shrouded in mystery. However, it does sound like that’s her voice in the opening of the new trailer, with the line “Who are you?,” doesn’t it? Tickets for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” are already available now in most territories, though the film doesn’t open wide until December 18. Industry analysts believe it stands to make over $615 million (€542 million) in its opening week alone, which would put it in line to becoming the biggest grossing movie ever. The good news for Disney is that this is just the beginning, as it’s already working on direct sequels and spinoffs.
