CarterTaz
This is odd, I updated both my PPAPI & NPAPI Flash Players and went to test them at http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/. My firefox browser shows the new version of 19.0.0.226, but Google Chrome still Shows 19.0.0.207. Checked the file version (Properties/Details) and it shows 19.0.0.226, also Revo Uninstaller shows it as 19.0.0.226, but Adobe Shows 207 Version In Google Chrome. Just strange is all. Internet will be blocked permanently, or how? That is, if the java banned, flash is banned etc, what will come on the pitch?
x3r0
Honestly guys, do you still visit site(s) that uses Flash? In my case, I count none - not almost again, but nothing, zero. All sites that I visit, regularly, occasionally, don't use Flash anymore. And Java web applet is worse - the last time I remember I need to have that installed is when I tried to run a simulation for a programming logic, nothing else. It's time to utilize full power of HTML5. virge
This app is a security nightmare, time to put it down.http://www.pulseheadlines.com/adobe-flash-player-secure/8658/Adobe’s Flash Player is secure againOn October 14, Adobe had found a critical vulnerability in the Flash Player, saying that if someone exploited it, “could cause a crash and potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system.”The report stated that the Flash’s software developers were aware of the complaints about this being used in limited, targeted attacks.Adobe gave the vulnerability the state of critical, which according to their ratings means that it is a vulnerability that could allow malicious software to execute without the user noticing it. Peter Pi, of Trend Micro, reported the breach on the software.Adobe encourages you to verify the Flash Player version installed on your system, clicking on running content of Flash and selecting “About Adobe Flash Player” to check it on the different browsers installed, in order to get the fixed update.Adobe Flash Player is the standard software used in web content to included designs, animations, and app interfaces that are deployed all browsers and platforms. Many companies using Flash, like Amazon and Mozilla, have been affected by security issues several times, leading them to disable it and asking for Flash to be “retired”. Experts recommend that if you are running any version of Flash, you should install any updates available to protect your computer.

steven36
So is Java the same people who done this exploit for flash exploited Java last summer Also they exploited Microsoft office. The reason you don't hear as much about Java is it don't really serve any purpose turning it on in you're browser anymore . Almost every one installs flash even people who complain about . Its simple if you don't like its disable it in Microsoft browsers and don't install the plug in for other browsers and delete pepper flash from Chrome .I stopped installing it in my browser and I stopped using Java a good while back . Some people like watching videos in there browser I don't I use MPV to stream .As long as there's sites that only use it will be around . So go complain to the websites that use it. still . adobe tries to do the best they can its not there fault its the sites that still use its fault.
