hi there
i would like to save files remotely from datafilehost.com (as i run on dialup and have a limited bandwidth) i found a few sites that do this kind of thing but the result is always the same i get a file the size of 1.XX KB

what could be the problem?, or could someone please recommend a good service site for this?

thanks in advance

but it looks that you didn't understand my problem correctly i "have already sites that do it"

http://save.teenable.in/http://ctrlq.org/save/http://uploadcloud.net/

my problem is that i just get in my dropbox a corrupted file instead of the real file

just try it ot by yourself take this link and try to get it into dropbox

http://www.datafilehost.com/get.php?file=79baa8f8

What gets intercepted by your site is an HTML page leading to the actual download

ex.. http://www.datafilehost.com/d/79baa8f8

calls a html page that ask you to get the file from a real link like

http://www.datafilehost.com/get.php?file=79baa8f8

if you use t he second page you get another html file:

Accessing the download initiation link directly is not allowed. The download only starts if you click from the download page. If you are not being redirected automatically {click here}.

Therfor your file uploader site is not friendly with page redirects... also the site dows not allow download if the link has not been initiated from a link inside datahost.com (as a counter measure for link hijacking)

remote transfer won't work, because the site refuses it..

Your only solution is have someone else who has access upload it to a mirror site you can access

your isp is probably doing some blocking

maybe you can try getting the files via tor or through a vpn or a ip tunneling app

I am able to download the files but i want to send it to someone that can't so i thought to do it remotely to spare my limited bandwidth and time

my question now is s there any way to upload remotely files from datafilehost?

thanks

Storage Made Easy will let you SFTP to many clouds.

If you had something that could download and push it to there (like a VPS or something), then you could remote upload.
