Luaine
par2 files can be used to repair rar/zip files. Do you have par2 files ? btw from where you downloaded that file ? Usenet ?
Dodel
As stated, if you grabbed the file from a usenet group, you may have the par2 files which will have recovery record, allowing the files to be repaired. Also what are the errors, and have you tried re-downloading from the source or an alternate ?
HX1
If you downloaded this file and it was interupted at any point without you stoping the download.. then the file itself is more than likely giving you to errors stating that it is Corrupt and the second stating that the file could not be extracted - chechsum error.. In this case I would download it again or look to another source. This type of issue is a common problem when using multiple files downloaded from file servers and when using a download manager.. when for example a file download gets interrupted stating that the server timed out of connection to the file server could not be reached.. either at fault of the server.. or because of the amount of traffic on your connection... it is pushed to lower limits ( even more so than they are ). This is not the case when you stop the download manager first..If this is the case it will not matter what other file you have.. The file is garbage.. give it another go... or look to another source. If the rror states it is looking for another file you have a piece of the whole and need to search for them all..
