Kalju
At first try this:If it doesn't help, try the secon, but ...NB! Desktop icons will change location.. .If this also fails, then the problem is more serious and may need to re-install Windows. But try to find out what is the cause of this phenomenon. anakin206
ESET user ?That's the perfect question. If you are using Eset you may have that issue. I had it too and can resolve it thanks to this topic.Solution begins in page 6First you have to change the way Eset updates the database:advance setup >> update >> settings click Pre-release update then tap okAnd update the antivirus. Then you need to change the attributes of this registry keysHKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Wow6432Node\CLSID\{42aedc87-2188-41fd-b9a3-0c966feabec1}\InProcServer32\andHKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{42aedc87-2188-41fd-b9a3-0c966feabec1}\InProcServer32\From shell32.dll to windows.storage.dllFirst you have to take ownership of the InProcServer32 folders from System to your user. After the changes, back to System as owner. Restart and your problem is solved.
