fugitiv3
Hello all,I need your advise and help on finding an alternative for TuneUp.As everybody knows past versions of tuneup have changed becoming more heavy, difficult to monitor, more services running etc etc.Can anyone advise a lighter software that can perfom as tuneup?I was just using Tuneup for performing registry cleaning and and celaning up system cache/logs/browser data. I never used the automations offer by the software.Any advise will be appreciated.

rezart
Auslogics boostspeed 8 is the best of all. I had Tuneup, and now switched to Bootspeed 8 in windows 10. It is completely another story with Bootsped. No useless processes run on system, the computer fell very light. It does the job perfectly while tuneup did a big sheet. The only useful feature of tuneup id their program deactivator which I will miss.Test your self the Bootspeed 8 You will be impresseed
Boskorp
Does any of these alternatives clear the unnecessary Windows update backups the way TuneUp does?
Gabben
Does any of these alternatives clear the unnecessary Windows update backups the way TuneUp does? In IObit Advanced SystemCare Settings->Junk Files Clean i see a checkbox at Windows Autoupdate cache? But there is an option for it in Windows 7-8.1 built-in hard drive cleaner. I don't know about windows 10.

I don't know about windows 10Standard Win 7 and 8.1 cleaners do remove stuff (in advanced scan mode), but after TuneUp scan there is more, a lot more to clean. I've tried CCleaner and Glary Utilities, but they lack this particular cleanup.

shorty6100
Another vote for Glary utilities. STAY AWAY from registry cleaners; they do more harm than good. Iobit borked my system terribly a few years back. I don't care for Iobit whatsoever. Wise Care 365 is another good choice minus the registry cleaner. Skunk1966
strange...nobody is mentioning Privazer (freeware). There's no match for cleaning temporary files, windows update cache etc.Brilliant and very safe to use!
