hari1419
Click start button and type - Device Manager - and hit enter (Device manager will open up) Now in the Device manager window you'll see a list of devices such as Computer, Disk Drives, Display adapters. ect ect. Look down the list and locate 'IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers' click on the little '>' symbol to the left to expand it and you will now see a list of controllers that will look something like this: ATA Channel 0ATA Channel 0ATA Channel 0ATA Channel 1 ATA Channel 1 ATA Channel 1 There may be a few longer named ones underneath but ignore those ones. Now right click on the ones I have listed above and select 'uninstall' one at a time, and as you uninstall the last one your computer will prompt you to restart, after the restart your drive should now be visible. Sourcenow its working
