Ballistic Gelatin
Remember to always specify your OS when requesting help for an issue like this. I can help you if you are using Windows 7.
Kalju
Hi, Is there a way to delete single entries one by one from icons which appear on the taskbar whether it can be done with or without free software?thxIt would be nice, if you can to talk about what you exactly need.It is recommended, add the image (screenshot). At present in any way can not understand, what you're saying. It seems to me, that you speak about the notification area. Maybe I'm wrong, don't know. Ballistic Gelatin
Honestly, I don't think you can delete the ones that are Off. What if you wanted to re-enable one or more of them in the future? How would you get them back? You should probably just leave well enough alone. I know there was a utility called "Msconfig Cleanup" that would remove those entries for uninstalled software and, thus, probably remove them from the Notification Area. But I don't know if it would work safely on Windows 10.

Kalju
This is not a story from the cache and how to clean cache.I'm amazed that there is such a problem at all. These icons were already in XP there, only smaller and at another location. Then wasn't anyone in trouble. The problem occurred when Windows 7 was released, but there was really something possible to removed. From Windows 8 these icons can be removed only if to remove Windows itself. It would be best to change the operating system, where they are not. If you have any doubt, err on the side of safety and leave them alone. At the very least, back up your registry and set a manual System Restore point before you do anything. In CCleaner, there are some tools for disabling AND deleting startup items (Tools > Startup). I've never used any of them, but it's possible that deleting the startup item associated with the unwanted icon might produce the desired outcome. Again, do your research before doing anything.
