Windows 10 Remote Desktop

I currently have 2 computers. One is running Windows 10 Pro (32 bit) and the other is running Windows 10 Home (64 bit). I would like to use my Windows 10 Pro machine to control my Windows 10 Home machine but Remote Desktop is not supported on Windows 10 Home. Is their a way to enable Remote Desktop on my Windows 10 Home machine?

I have not personally tried this:

Enable Remote Desktop on Windows via the registry

  1. Open Registry Editor (RegEdit).
  2. Navigate or browse to the following key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Terminal Server

  3. Locate the fDenyTSConnections subkey, and change the DWORD value to 0.
  4. To enforce the use of RDP 6.0 and NLA, navigate to the following key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Terminal Server\WinStations\RDP-Tcp

  5. Locate the UserAuthentication subkey, and change the DWORD value to 1.
  6. Exit registry editor and restart the computer to make the changes effective.

Once you have enabled or turned on Remote Desktop, Windows will automatically open the required and necessary ports in Windows Firewall to listen and accept any incoming Remote Desktop connections.

Save yourself some headaches and just use Teamviewer if that fills your requirements.

You may look into how to send Remote Assistance or Invitations.. I know that this is supposed to be the only way to natively support connecting to Windows RT Devices where Remote Connections are not there.. BUT you can use the Remote Desktop app to actually connect and control other systems.. ( Thought it was weird to run Windows 10 Pro on an RT Tablet with a total of eight cores.. LOL and see how I would look on my tablet.. )

Anyway point being there may be another way to get there if you want to use the default Remote Desktop.. You have to turn it on in System within the Control Panel.. Hit Win + R, Then type in msra.exe... You will create the invitation onto your desktop them connect to the desktop via Network.. and click on the file.. or email it to yourself then download and open.. It will ask you for the password on the other system.. At this point you can view the screen. and you can request control... I would also go to setting on the client system and change bandwidth optimization..

That's one way anyways...

.. or you can use the App in the Store.. could work..
