heyyahblah
If you are talking about Windows PC apps, I know a few out there that I used to use (I still use 1 with my gadgets) called CoreTemp.http://www.alcpu.com/CoreTemp/Even if you go there with your browser it blocks it as potentially harmful, when really it's not. Its just because its bundled with all that crap. The same thing goes for the Your Uninstaller! Program. It is still offered at Nsane downloads to remove apps from your computer, but if you download it, AV software goes haywire saying its infected with PUP's or etc, when really there is nothing there, its the stupid click-bait that you have to watch out for.Anyways I found out a little trick/secret if you will. If download the installer for CoreTemp or Your Uninstaller! Program, just simply turn off your internet connection before running the install. Try this on a V/M if you don't believe me. Run an install with your internet on (and it will force you to click-bait and install PUP's). Then disable your internet connection and run install again, you will now notice it will only install the intented software in my case CoreTemp or Your Uninstaller! and will not ask you to install the PUP's.As long as you know your way around programs and how to install them you can manage to get them on your system without risk of infection, but if paranoid, you can always have a V/M handy (I always have V/M's if I test software I am unsure of), or talk to forum members about software or simply run them through online programs like VirusTotal or Jotti Malware Scan.Remember though, most of these companies flag all our shit because ... well we don't want to pay for it :)One of my last recent problems was Windows 10 and Windows Defender. I downloaded the WinRAR keygen from here and Windows Defender would not stop detecting it as infected, even when I cleaned it, added it to exclusions and deleted the damn keygen, its like it was stuck in my system. I literally had to disable Windows Defender for the WinRAR keygen popup from coming up. Same goes for the AutoKMS, its like it gets imbedded in Windows Defender and you can't get rid of it, I never tried rolling back (because System Restore was disabled by default = stupid IMO) but when I disabled Windows Shitfender on W10 it went away.So now I wrote myself a note, if I ever do a fresh install of W10, immediately after setup, turn off Windows Defender then play around with my legit software. Never had that WinRar keygen problem in W8.1 or W7 with Defender, only with W10 .... so they must have changed some shit around in there.Anyways, thanks for the rantg/l

Cuz there is NONE.. Dont download the bundle with Ad-Support that Install 3rd Party Software Bundle <- Of course it will be malware :)And Not at last. Microsoft also claim "Dont Download Crack Windows" It contain "Malware". Dont Download Loaders it contain Trojan. LOL
virge
Even when you try to download Adobe flash plugin, by default it wants to install McAfee. Other apps you have to constantly click deny to the embedded junk-ware. SUMo monitoring is a good example of this. This is why i love portable apps, nothing to install and no embedded crap. This is why i love portable apps, nothing to install and no embedded crap.Right, that's why there are comments like this one on portable apps for general download: "Don't mind the splash screen but what is up with the reappearing avax icon on the desktop and opening a webpage? Had to make my own portable."Years ago we use to write programs to help one another and we would put a comment in the code to say who wrote it. No popups, adverts, webpages, music, icons, etc. And yes, people could disassemble, change the comment to their own name, and recompile but we didn't really care. What we were doing was for the good of the people who had access to the programs. That's not true today. All these script kiddies want to be 'elite' when they are really just shit. Don't get me started on the fall of the internet which occurred in 1983 when we let the world in.Still think portable apps are safe? Think again (unless you made it yourself.)I would also like to point out that you have an option when downloading DoNotSpy10 because the download buttons are specifically labeled - 'Download - Ad Supported' and 'Donate and Download - No Ads' so how can anyone complain that there are ads in the software when you are told before you ever download it.This is a nonexistent problem. There is also an OpenCandy cleanup tool that the company provides to remove it. Unfortunately the company shares it thru dropbox and it has too much traffic, but you can get it at the following website.http://www.ghacks.net/2014/06/23/remove-opencandy-windows-pc/

You can also use one of the ten tools available I think one that allows for backup is better. It all depends on what site you get it from.
Holmes
I honestly prefer to use tools created by programmers (plural) compared to the tools created by a programmer there is going to be less error and the programming is going to be better. I have nothing against these tools a company maintaining a tool works better I think correct me if Im wrong. I like the tool created by O&O software and Spybot. The link I posted had to do with a infection actual malware it didnt say anything about open candy or potentially unwanted programs and I saw it and decided to post to give a heads up (make sure your antivirus is updated when you download it) that is all.
