HX1
Hang your friend upside down so he gets more blood to the brain so he can remember... :PYou may try a different method of booting to the Disc.. Some of these incuding mine.. which uses Insyde version BIOS.. for whatever reason will boot to media unless you go to the short menu when starting the system instead of booting into the BIOS.. It will have an option to select boot device.. then it will go into using the disk.. I had this issue when installing Windows 10.. ( and it happens even if you have the boot order set up in BIOS )Worth a try to go through all of the startup options there.. Hopefully you can get the BIOS Password thing fixed.. but this may help the Booting issue..

kasper
hi ,when you enter 3 times more do you have some code ? what company make bios Pheonix etc. ?
Cerberus
On most laptops today the password is stored in a seperate chip just for the password. You have to open the case up and find the chip and discharge it. All oem laptops are different so you have to do detail research to make sure the proceedure is the correct one for your motherboard. Good luck.By the way, oem's support wont help with this because it is a security issue (they dont know if the laptop is stolen or not). The "I cant remember password" wont work with them. lol
