What is Decentralized Internet?

The Internet we know, has governments and corporations involved in providing for data transfers.

Servers for routing, DNS and other things are handled by government organizations and

Internet Service Providers.

Thus, they are able to track what you are doing using their resources.

VPNs and Proxies are a little help in diverting them but cannot provide 100% privacy.

Decentralized Internet – one that does not need the governmental and corporate servers –

can help in privacy and in certain other factors – such as preventing throttling and

speeding down connection speeds.

In this article, I will focus and talk more about Meganet, which has been in the news lately.

It is a decentralized Internet structure that is waiting to be launched on Jan 2016.

This is like a child daydreaming while smoking pot.

Meganet founder says that Meganet will not drain off the batteries of the users using Meganet – while transferring or forwarding data packets from one device to other.

Really, there is no battery drain when transmitting/receiving packet.

But I like the idea of decentralized internet using the centralized internet infrastructure, this is more realistic and make more sense.

It can be made and launched without needing to ask for money on crowdfunding.
