Batu69
The Software Licensing Service reported that the license evaluation failed. (Error code: 0xC004E003)You might see the above activation error after installing some third-party software that could have changed the system files. Windows activation requires certain system files to finish the activation process. Try to restore your PC’s system files back to an earlier point in time which removes any software that you installed after the specified point in time without affecting personal files of yours.http://www.thewindowsclub.com/windows-10-activation-errors

psyko666
SINCE PREVIOUSLY EXPLAINED TOO MANY TIMES ON november_ra1n THREAD + BASED ON PERSONAL EXPERIENCE NOT GONNA SUGGEST FORMLESS/ANY JUNK SITES ADVISES . . . . YOU MIGHT KNOW AFTER UPGRADING FROM WINDOWS 7 / 8.1 TO WINDOWS 10 & DURING THE ACTIVATION MICROSOFT COLLECTS THE HARDWARE'S ID DETAILS FOR ACTIVATION (UPGRADE + FRESH INSTALL IN FUTURE) . . . . AFTER REPAIRING YOUR MOTHERBOARD (WHICH HAS MAJOR IMPACT ON ACTIVATION VIA PREVIOUS UPGRADE) IT'S HARDWARE ID SOMEWHAT CHANGED (MAY BE THEY REPLACED IT) . . . SO AFTER FRESH INSTALLATION OF YOUR WINDOWS 10, IT'LL NOT GET ACTIVATION & WILL SHOW YOU LICENSE IS BLOCKED . . . BEST + CONFIRMED SOLUTION : GO BACK & DO FROM 1ST AGAIN , MEANS UPGRADE AGAIN TO GAIN NEW ACTIVATION AGAIN + THEN DO FRESH INSTALL OF WINDOWS 10 . . . No need to shout <_<
SnakeMasteR
Can you use the phone activation option? For what? Activation is broken due to making changes to hardware after upgrading.1. It's one of thousands bugs... https://www.google.com/search?q=0xC004C003A bug is unintentionally, unexpected, a blocked activation after making changes to hardware is intentionally and expected, thus not a bug. Kalju
Do You have a genuine Windows 7 activation key, and it was also recorded in a Microsoft account? If so, reinstall Windows 7 and upgrade to Windows 10 again. If previously was used some other activation method, try it again.
straycat19
This is a major problem with the free upgrade. Anything that changes the HWID invalidates the license and you either need to use the built in downgrade to restore your original OS or purchase a retail Win 10 license. When you install windows 10 it invalidates your previous license and it will no longer work outside of the built in restore to previous OS. Kalju
Well, this may be the case, however, may still try and if it does not produce results, and if the computer identification code has changed, is worth to try Daz activation and then upgrade.Still worth a try, I think so. straycat19
Essentially, if you do the windows 10 upgrade you have an oem license, regardless of your original license for 7/8.1 (which by the way is no longer valid after upgrading), so any hardware changes that cause the hwid to change invalidates the license. The same as with oem versions of windows 7/8.1. Only full retail versions of microsoft windows are considered 'portable', that is can be activated with a hardware change. Actually by giving 10 away and only allowing a rollback within 30 days, Microsoft will be filing its coffers when users are forced to buy retail versions due to hardware upgrades. And for all that windows 10 isn't, it just isn't worth ever upgrading or installing. I made sure I have plenty of valid licenses for 7/8.1 to last me the rest of my lifetime even if MS doesn't support them anymore.
