Kalju
....give me suggestionsTHANK YOULook, if it can be done in any way, then it would been done a long time ago.It all depends on your Internet service provider and your system. If one of them is slow, then is all slow.Accordingly You must find out which of them causes problems to You, and then simply try to get better system or service provider.(The water velocity in the pipe determines the most subtle part of the tube! / Bernoulli's law/)

jbleck
find out if it's possible first where u live... ask your neighbours about their NET speedthe ISP in most cases is irrelevant... just go to the cheapest one....(The water velocity in the pipe determines the most subtle part of the tube! / Bernoulli's law/)continuing the water analogy... the ISP only provides the tap and the watermeter... it's the pipe that countsif the ISP comes with it's own pipe then u should give it a try.do not upgrade your data cap if more speed isn't possible... in most cases they will make u pay more by giving u a "bigger tap" for faster speeds on paper only.bottom line... u have limited options :P :move near the "main pipe" (near a university if u can't find it)change the "pipes" by convincing your neighbours / street / neighbourhood... the city mayor
pr1xsel
You would like to have higher speed limit or just more responsive web-surfing & gaming experience?1. Use speedtest.net to check your internet speed & compare results with your friends and neighbors to know if there's any better internet provider & if you are actually able to reach your currently promised speed limit.2. Search for better offers from internet providers that preferably offers fiber optic internet or cable instead of phone line? (no clue what's available in India).Otherwise to make internet surfing very little-bit more responsive (if none helps then your really need to find better internet package & provider):3. Don't share internet with other devices at same time!4. Don't use Wi-Fi!5. Try to verify that your old router or PC isn't slowing things down.6. Block ads & social buttons on websites to load webpages faster, use 64bit browser & don't torrent when you wish to do other stuff at the same time.7. Maybe upgrade your RAM to at least 8GB because Google Chrome currently still uses a lot of ram.8. Remove old programs, clean junk files with CCleaner & defragment HDD.9. Maybe upgrade your computer & use RAMDisk & portable Firefox (use about:config to change default cache folder) & use some kind of download manager that allocates entire file into HDD before downloading (avoids file fragmentation) & makes multiple connections to same server to get maximum download speed.Otherwise if wish to share internet or prioritize network traffic, then you can try cFoSpeed: http://www.nsanedown.com/?request=13630716

SnakeMasteR
The biggest problem for every ISP in the world is the amount of line attenuation or noise margin that comes with certain regions (besides the lazyness of the ISP itself) and that's the only reason why almost every ISP's can't give f.e. straight DSL 16000 but up to DSL 16000. If you live in a pampa heavily isolated from civilization or simply too far away from the exchange with not so good infrastructure, it may be hard for ya finding a ISP willing to invest into such a region or invest into additional hardware like an amplifier or re-generator built as booster/extender/repeater.The thing i did was subscribing to a different ISP after informing them about the bad experience and performance i had with the previous ISP which literally said "nothing we can do about the current performance, since we sell subscriptions as reseller making use of available third party infrastructure, not as owners and maintainers of the infrastructure" and only willing to subscribe to them after they placed a repeater, to minimize the attenuation that was present back then. The previous ISP simply was too cheap and lazy in that regard but they took the money for proven less performance with a smile of course (that silly a-holes B)). They have been acquired from O² later, which was the best moment to quit the ISP and subscribe to another one.Fcuk optimizers, they can't do crap.I remember reading another forum where someone asked how to get more RAM, someone answered pretty fast "Download more". 10/10 - IGN

mike.mt
@shasi....Take it from a corporate IT pro that concurs our other learned members whose statements reflect that none of the so called “go faster” settings posted around the web by well-meaning inexperienced computer hobbyists’ do “Diddly Squat”, “Nada” on a modern OS.Applying any puts the user at risk of downgrading the functionality / performance of the systems TCP/IP, Winsock Stack or with some busting it completely. These tweaks originated back in the old XP days when the network protocol services had less features. The only way is to speed up internet connectivity is by aquiring more bandwidth (with Low Latency) from a decent service provider & / or removing any Crapps (crap apps) that cause degraded network throughput.BRMike
