Kakihara73
example:you have this unknow hardware (I know isn't unknow but is for example :P )go to detail tab and select Hardware ID like in this picture:here you can read hardware ID for your hardware, all of your hardware (know and unknow)in this example you can read the vendor (VEN) and the device (DEV) numbers. so you can go to pcidatabase and search by vendor or device the entire database after that you can search the other codefor example (because my english is very bad) we wanna search the vendor on pcidatabase, insert the vendor code as in this case of the picture is 10EC (the code after VEN_ and before the & )so, after the search the database indicates that is realteck semicionductor, so we click on realtech (because match the vendor ID) and go on.After that we have the entire database of device corresponding the vendor ID (in our case 10EC) and with this long list we can search the our vendor ID unknow for us. In this case 0888 because like vendor ID the code that we need for this is after DEV_ and before &when fount it, we can have the right name of the hardware and we can search the right driver to our unknown hardware, for exemple in this case we can view that is:Chip Number: ALC888Chip Description: Realtek High Definition AudioNotes: <drivers>often in notes we can found the link for the right driver of our hardware, however we know exactly what hardware is :DEDIT: hope that this can be useful to many people that have unknow HW ;)EDIT2: sorry again for my bad english, I'm not a good teacher too :P
