Paft
I formatted a 1TB HDD instead of a SD Card...I've tried EaseUs Data Recovery. During the scan I can see how my HDD looked. Notice the folder categories. But when the scan is complete it doesn't display the original categories..what's with that? I was expecting file names to be lost but when it displayed the original folder and sub folders before the scan was complete I was happy as most of it could be identified. Now most, if not all of it is useless.

SB7
Active@ Data Studio, available on this very site. Has worked for me multiple occasions. For example when my exFAT SDcard was corrupted and no other tools could find anything it recovered all even with corrupted file table /partition info.Has also worked well regular OS drives too. Paft
Thanks everyone. I've heard of all of these exuding UNFORMAT.I had used GetDataBack like 10 years ago with good success.I tried Active@ out of interet as I frequently use the bootable password remover. It looks like I have recovered 98% with 'Quick Scan', unless some of the files are broken.Unless I am missing something I won't be using EaseUs Data Recovery again. Paft
Yeah, it seemed only a few rars files from a scene release was damaged. The first time I did the recovery it got to 99% (no joke) and then the street had a power cut. Bad Luck Larry.
