PIDKey different purpose tool than MSAct. PIDKey more like analyzing the key information MSAct getting true information if the specific key available to activate & rest of the activation procedure. DR_ADHAM Posted November 12, 2018 Share Posted November 12, 2018 This marvelous tool from Ratiborus is a reference in fact PIDKey could tell you only if the key blocked or block base not found but will not tell you if the key exceeded the limit number of activations, MSActPlus will do provided you've suitable architecture installed. In favour of PIDKey, it just checks key validity not installing it .. MSActPlus installs the key meaning you must have the architecture you are checking the key for ... If you're testing a key supporting online activation, it'll waste the chance for others truely in need decreasing the count by one for every test. Would be much more valuable if Ratiborus edited this option .. I'm suggesting not letting it activate automatically but instead may show a message "The key supports online activation (Count: ?) .. Do you like to proceed with online activation?" This will only add one small step and just a couple of seconds but on the other side much great value BTW it's indeed designed for true activation NOT for test purposes as I see.
